google tablet will fight with apple ipad

I never use my tablet if its not online plus I have an android smartphone. Do you think I woild be happy with my purchase? My main uses will be web browsing, youtube, and netflix.

Is a Android based Tablet good enough for a person who just wants to web surf, do emails and view videos on youtube?

My husband has been laid off now for almost 2 months, not really trying to find a new job, not really taking advantage of this time not working to start his GED, or joining Job Corps like he said he was thinking about doing. He has been helping out our landlord’s cousin fix his house during the day so he can get his certificate of occupancy (foreclosed house in a ghetto neighborhood) for cash. But other than that, all he has been doing is playing his Xbox 360 and thats where all of his money is going (except to buy cigarettes)! I am really considering taking the cords and hiding them somewhere, even though he said he would be really pissed off if I did that (Well guess what, I am pretty pissed off!).
I work 38 hours a week and am 20 weeks pregnant, so pretty soon I am going to have to take time off from my job after the baby comes. I am also a college student (and as long as I am in college my parents have agreed to help me with $600/mo to make things a little easier), but my grades aren’t doing so well and my school said if I don’t have a B in the class I am taking they are going to have to put me on academic suspension (can’t take classes for a year) so my parents will stop helping out too.
The class I am taking is a document processing/keyboarding class and the keyboarding is done online (well my landlord is an idiot and has said he has fixed it 5 times in 7 months, and its included in my rent on the lease, we are renting a room in a house too) but my internet still doesn’t work 95% of the time and when it does work it barely loads anything (it takes over 20 minutes to load google.com). It probably doesn’t help the internet situation with my husband being on Xbox Live when he isn’t working on that house either.
We have tried to get on Medical Assistance and Food Stamps but MN is still barely functioning after the government shutdown. So we are waiting, and have been waiting since before we got pregnant.
I do not make enough money to pay rent, buy all the food, pay for all the gas that goes in our car that is falling apart (and I have been paying to get fixed every time something goes wrong), but even though I only work a few blocks away, we are in a very bad neighborhood so I would rather drive than walk (and its MN in Nov. there is snow now). And my college is only 8 miles away. But my husband uses the car without saying anything to me to go get his brother at every week and bring him back to his house too, which is 30 miles away, so they can play Call Of Duty: Black Ops and now MW3. It may be a Dodge Neon, but its new problems are a fuel pump and something with my suspension and head gaskets, and is eating gas/oil like crazy. I asked him not to take the car unless he needed it (which he never should need it) but he doesn’t listen to me and he is really rough on it. And god forbid him or his brother put gas in the tank! Oh did I mention that since we rent a room our TV is in our room and that is where they are all day and night (sometimes all night) while I am trying to sleep.
I can’t talk to my parents about any of this because they don’t want to hear it (they aren’t very emotionally supportive, just kind of financially… thats the way they have always been, they help out just enough that I won’t make them look bad). My only friends turned on me a year ago because of my closest friend and I getting into a really big fight that ended our friendship, and since they all live in the same area and I am 3 hours away, the rest of them sided with her. I have always had a hard time making friends, so I don’t have any now. I don’t know who I can talk to.
*And GOD CAN’T HELP IN ANY WAY SO DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT GOD (Christians have been extremely cruel to me from a very young age, so I hold a grudge against them, its better than acting against them and burning down churches, so just don’t insult me by taking about God and Jesus and you will be doing your job as a self righteous follower of god).
**I just want some input from someone who has been in a similar situation, how you got through it, if you said something to your husband that actually got him to take initiative and get off that stupid Xbox. I don’t care to hear about your husband being a dead beat too and just hear you sharing my frustration.

Ok so heres the story people, recently I got a tablet and its pretty awesome. I draw all the time on a sketchpad and I wouldn’t say I’m terrible (but I also wouldn’t say I’m amazing.. Theres always room for improvement right ^_^) any-who I’ve been playing around with this conflabid device and I pretty much get how it works and such. My real problem lies in photoshop and all of its difficulties, I’ve taken a digital photography class in the past (like 2 years ago in 9th grade) and I pretty much understand the basics (layers, filters, what the tools do) stuff like that but I have no idea how to use it to optimize my artwork (aka color in things, shade things, make things not look like someone pooped on a piece of paper) I’ve watched multiple videos of people speed painting and stuff and I can tell that something I’m doing here is just… incorrect… I realize I could google this… but really…. I want to try this first maybe my results will be better. I have a genius tablet, photoshop CS4, and alot of free time and patience haha. I don’t know if I need something like illustrator…. bluh…. so I guess my question is, how did you learn to finish your artwork on your computer? Do I need something like Illustrator? What do I do!!!!!?

i want to do this because i dont always have access to wifi and would be great if i could download and have it on my tablet to take it with me.

I have a Sony Google TV and I’m hooking my laptop up to it, but I get a slight delay on my TV from my laptop. It’s not very bad, and doesn’t effect watching movies, but this makes it impossible to use my TV as a monitor for gaming. I’ve hooked my PS2 up to my TV with the red, yellow, and white audio/video cables, and I don’t receive any delay. I was wondering is it possible to buy an HDMI to Audio/Video converter, and if so, where? I thought it may be worth a try to get rid of the delay. Any help would be appreciated!

I have seen a few cameras advertised on TV, but would like a list of a few really good ones to find on google…ones that look nice but can take really good , possibly professional pictures. I have seen a couple that have the added frames or lenses so you can take them off to fit in like a small case of purse. My birthday is coming up so I’m just looking for something my parents might like to purchase or consider. thank you
