In case you don’t know, SOPA is a bill proposed by some guy named Lamar Smith that will rid the Internet of copyrighted and pirated movies, games, music, and TV shows. So that basically means that sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Google, Yahoo, eBay, Tumblr, Zynga, and many many others will be blocked and go down the drain if you know what I mean. Now I think that this bill is complete BS and it will NOT stop piracy and copyright infringement as it will probably make things worse than ever. It is also hypocritical of the US to do something like this because what about the Bill of Rights? The First Amendment? The DMCA? It almost makes me feel embarrassed that I live upon a government that is even considering something this overdone because this is just over doing it. I don’t mean to go on the offensive but something like this, it’s almost Nazi standards. How could they do something like this to whats probably the greatest invention in our recent history? Do they even have the right to do something like that? Because if it’s passed in the US wouldn’t it count for everywhere else in the world? Don’t any OTHER countries get to speak up on this so called “bill”? Something like this will mark the death of the internet. It will never be the same. Last time I checked something like this was called censorship. And if this passes it will go down as the greatest example of censorship in history. I mean they are certainly going overboard with this. Cuz if you were to post or watch a video of you singing along to your favorite song, showing footage of a game, or anything of that matter, you could not only get fined for it, but you can also get 5 years in jail for it. I mean, that’s just cold. It just sickens me to see how idiotic and repulsive our government is being with this. I don’t mean to sound unpatriotic with that last sentence I apologize but I’m sorry cuz it’s the truth. Now i realize that this bill hasn’t been passed yet and I know of the supporters and rejectors of this proposed bill. Its pretty much the Internet vs the Government. It’s stupid for people like Nintendo, Sony, EA, and Microsoft to support this bill because I think that the Internet is one of the main reasons why people buy their products because you wanna get all the info you can on a game lets just say, you just look it up on sites like YouTube for info, walkthroughs, reviews, and things like that because it can help decide whether you should drain $60 on a game. Now if that stopped then they would probably be losing money. They might complain that they are losing money and piracy is to blame and they don’t have enough money, I say BS ON THAT!!!! Last time I checked you were still earning money and still big as a company. Didn’t Modern Warfare 3 make $400 million on its first day ALONE and selling nearly 10 million copies within that 24 hour period, and over $800 million in its first 5 days? Didn’t Harry Potter 7 Part 2 gross nearly $500 million in 1 weekend and go on to be the 3RD highest grossing movie of ALL TIME? It just shows that these companies still well active and continue to make money, and now they want more money? These companies are acting like greedy, money hungry bastards. Now I know that piracy and copyright infringement is a big issue and I agree that it should be stopped, but THIS is NOT the right way to handle it. And there are also several other important issues in the world nowadays. How about doing something to fix our economy or how about try to do something about the violence and the terrorism nowadays or anything but this. It is simply a waste of time and money and we shouldn’t have to go through with this bill.
Anyway, phew I wrote alot, I don’t think this bill will pass however I don’t know how it is going with the Congress. How do they feel about it overall? How many people involved in Congress are against it? How many support it? I read somewhere that 95% of American people are against it, but what about the Congress? Please answer ASAP and thank you for reading my question/tirade. lol.

I’m going Hong Kong shortly, I want an ipad or google/acer/motorola tablet. i’ve been looking at retail and online prices, the differences aren’t too great. Does anyone know whether prices will be much cheaper in Hong Kong. If so, what stores should i be heading to? Thanks

I want a tablet for christmas but Im having difficulties choosing especialy with the price. Ive already decided not to get Ipad as it is too expensive and will not support flash. Ive narrowed it down to the Acer iconia 10.1 inch, lenova idea pad k1, Samsung galaxy tab, Sony s1, Motorola xoom, and the asus Eepad. I like the idea of the acer and lenova as they are both at 350 currently. For a tablet I plan on mainly web browsing, and the occasional gaming. Cool interfaces, and customizable ones are really what im looking for. Which of these do you think is the best for the price? Is it worth spending the extra money?

I’m dealing with a lot of cavities currently. I have been going to the dentist and working on them, and I have this one in my molar that has been getting progressively worse. The pain is unbearable tonight. I have tried three 220g advil tablets at once, clove oil, benzocain, and nothing is even taking the edge off of the pain. Does anybody have any suggestions (legal) that I haven’t tried to manage? I am probably going to take a trip into the dentist for an emergency appointment tomorrow but I gotta get through the night first.

I just purchased a Sony hd 3d t.v. The model # is KDL46HX729. I have followed the instructions of another question asked to connect the remote by holding down the t.v. button. By doing this, I have succeeded in turning the t.v. on and off. For some reason, the t.v. remote wont change channels or do anything else. The only thing it can do is turn the t.v. on and off. Ok, I’m probably going to get abused for this, but try and give me honest opinions.
Isn’t Vegetarianism unnatural? Humans, by way of creation or evolution, were given teeth and strong jaws, because our ancestors and their ancestors fed primarily on meat as their stable food source. Humans have hunted for hundreds of years.
The vegetarian people I know are white and skinny, and I’m not being stereotypical. Meat gives us protein to build muscle and solid body mass. Just eating carbs and veg as a meal can’t do anybody any good in my opinion, but I’m willing to be proven wrong.
Vegetarians claim to be natural, but many, possibly including yourself, find it OK to take unnatural tablets which give you the vitamins and protein that you miss from refusing to eat meat.

I cant find an official digital copy of the book on Google Books or Amazon Kindle, is there any other way i can buy a digital copy to read on my tablet in school? Cant be online, cant connect to the schools network?
